Meet Allison
You don’t have to carry it all alone. I’m a psychotherapist who believes healing starts with one conversation — the kind where you feel seen, supported, and never judged. My practice blends evidence-based therapy with down-to-earth care so you can build confidence, calm your nervous system, and create relationships that feel safe and genuine.

How therapy with me feels
-
Collaborative: we set goals together and check in often.
-
Practical: you’ll leave with coping tools you can use between sessions.
-
Compassionate: I hold a non-judgmental, trauma-informed space at your pace.
-
Creative: worksheets or coping skill example sheets, grounding kits, and reflective prompts when helpful.
My approach
I integrate CBT and ACT (to help shift unhelpful thoughts and behaviors), DBT (for building emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness skills), nervous-system regulation techniques (like grounding, breath-work, bilateral tapping, and pacing), attachment-based therapy (to explore patterns in relationships), and strengths-focused work (to amplify what’s already working in your life).
I also approach therapy through a trauma-informed lens, which means prioritizing safety, choice, and empowerment at every step. Your story, pace, and boundaries are respected — always.
Every session is tailored to your unique needs and goals. Some sessions may focus on practical coping tools, others may slow down to process emotions, or explore deeper patterns beneath the surface. Together, we’ll find what works best for you in each moment.
Translation: We’ll calm the body, clarify the story, and build small, meaningful steps toward lasting change.
